After decades of serving the community of New Boston at City Hall, longtime New Boston Mayor Johnny Branson vacated his seat tonight.

Johnny Branson first served for many years as a city councilman, and has since been the guiding force for New Boston as mayor for decades that have seen the city become one of the most fiscally sound municipalities in the State of Texas.
