This week’s Dairy Queen Player of the Week is New Boston quarterback Kyle Atkinson.

Atkinson and the Lions put on a show last night as they defeated the Jefferson Bulldogs 50-30 in a district contest.

In the game, Atkinson rushed for 243 yards and five touchdowns. He was also 4 of 5 for 77 yards through the air.

The Lions dominated the Jefferson squad combining for 533 total yards of offense, while the defense held Jefferson to just 254 yards of total offense.
