On December 29, TEXAR presented building gift deeds to two local independent school districts. With the closing of the branches in Hooks and DeKalb, TEXAR was given the unique opportunity to donate those buildings to area schools for their future use. Superintendent Keith Minter, Hooks ISD, and Superintendent Dr. John Booth, DeKalb ISD, were on hand for the passing of keys presented by Connie Lee, Executive Vice President of TEXAR.
