Odds are, no matter how long you live, what you choose to do as a vocation, where you live or just about any other variable, you will one day find out that it is simply easier to be kind.
When we are younger, we have new energy, new aspirations and new priorities. We want to make something of ourselves and we have an intense desire to make more money. The drive to compete with the Jones family next door is high, the want of the new car is in our eyes, and the thoughts of success run rampant.
But as we get older, things change. Priorities change. Life becomes different as we age and most of us will see days where what we want for ourselves transforms into what we would like to have for our children and grandchildren. Our incessant drive more starts to taper off I think as we age, and we become more reflective.
