In a unanimous vote in a special called meeting of the New Boston City Council, Wayne Dial of Simms was named New Boston City Administrator. The appointment was the lone agenda item in last Thursday night’s meeting.
Dial comes to New Boston excited for the future, and with plenty of city manager experience. “I want to see New Boston progress and grow, and I think that it’s doing that,” said Dial.
“I’ve been excited over the last several years, even before this opportunity came, to see the growth here in New Boston,” Dial explained. “Businesses like the new Tractor Supply, the Ace Hardware, the truck stops - those kinds of things are wonderful.”
