When someone writes you a complete tablet of notes of how she feels (in a small binder), you read it, ponder it, dissect every word, and pray she’s only venting. That she is letting off steam, that she’s taking her pain to the Lord. And she is not growing bitter.
However, out of the abundance of the heart, our mouth does speak. So I must say, my friend’s words offered insight into her world. And I honestly didn’t want to know some of it, for it saddened me, but reading her ‘pain on paper’ moved me to my knees.
I prayed she sought God to guide her, deliver her, speak hope to her – which is something I should do too.
