Destiny Dimensions

Devotion 4: Galatians 6:4 “Let everyone be devoted to fulfill the work God has given them to do with excellence, and their joy will be in doing what’s right and being themselves, and not in being affirmed by others.” (TPT) The happiest people that I have ever been around in my life are those who have found their God-given destiny and completely thrown their life into everything that God has planned for them. Every one of us has God-given gifts, talents and abilities. The Lord has given each and every one of us a wonderful destiny. The thing is we must find out what we are called to do and completely give our life to it.

This scripture encourages and teaches us that every one of us needs to devote our life to the work that God has given us. Never do it halfheartedly but do it all with excellence. By doing this, joy will spring forth out of our heart and flood our lives because we are doing what is right. The world needs to see real and genuine people being themselves and living lives that overflow with joy because they know they are in the middle of God’s will. These people access new levels of their destiny daily by pursuing a personal and intimate relationship with Jesus Christ. When we consistently seek God, we are affirmed by the Holy Spirit on a daily basis. Therefore, we do not need affirmation from others to make us feel valuable. When the One who created the heavens and the earth affirms us daily in our secret place, we will be sure of our identity.

Each year, as I continue my daily walk with God, it seems that I find out a little bit more of who I am in God and what I’m called to do. It seems that in every season God is doing something new, wild, fresh and exciting. As my wife and I have been on this journey for numerous years together life gets better, sweeter and a lot more adventurous the longer we are together. We have completely given our lives to family, friends and ministry. We have fully embraced the journey God has laid out before us and taken every challenge and trial head on. My friends, I would not trade anything for where we are today and it all started in the secret place with God and growing daily in our destiny with Him.
