The Boston Arts and Entertainment District was formally established at last month’s New Boston City Council meeting. A group of local volunteers have dreamed and built an organization to bring entertainment and family friendly activities to the heart of New Boston.
Boston Arts and Entertainment District founding member Noel McClain said, “We went to the city council, and they’ve agreed to set up an actual entertainment district that goes from Hwy 82 back to front street then from Elm Street to right before New Boston Concrete.”
“We just felt like everybody was going to the other towns to do these types of events, and New Boston was missing out”, said Mc-Clain. “We’ve got one heck of a facility downtown not being used except for maybe one weekend a month.”
