The Municipal Court of Hooks has active Warrants it is seeking to clear. As a goodwill gesture, starting Wednesday, February 1, 2023 through Tuesday, February 28, 2023 the Municipal Court of Hooks is offering amnesty to individuals who face arrest or other penalties due to outstanding Warrants issued before February 1, 2023. This means that during this period anyone with an outstanding Warrant with The City of Hooks will have the opportunity to pay it. It must be paid in full, we will NOT allow payment plans to be set up. The Hooks Municipal Court is a Safe Haven, which means if a defendant comes into our office to pay their Warrant, they will NOT be arrested. However, once the amnesty period ends, the City of Hooks Police Department will aggressively enforce ALL active Warrants. The following forms of payment will be accepted: Cash, Check/ Money Order, Credit/ Debit Card. If paying in person, our office is located at 603 E Ave A Hooks, TX 75561. If mailing a Check/Money Order, please make it payable to The City of Hooks and mail it to City of Hooks Municipal Court PO Box 37 Hooks, TX 75561. Do NOT mail cash payments. If paying with a Credit/Debit Card, please note that there will be a 2.4% convenience fee added.
