Susan Lindsey joins Tribune staff

Susan Lindsey has joined the staff of the Bowie County Citizens Tribune as a reporter.

A graduate of New Boston High School, Lindsey has called Bowie County home for more than 30 years and has strong personal and familial ties throughout the area.

It was in college that Lindsey first developed a love of journalism, she said. She helped restart the monthly Cossatot Community College newspaper where she would report on school and community events and wrote an advice column. She became student editor in her second semester of study. After graduation, Lindsey went on to become a feature, events and hard news reporter at the Texarkana Gazette.
