New Boston voters will get the chance to meet their city council candidates before the upcoming election.
The New Boston Chamber of Commerce is hosting a candidate meet and greet Saturday, April 22. Candidates will be on hand to greet voters and answer individual questions. There will be refreshments on hand, but candidates have chosen not to have a formal town hall or debate forum at this event, said Heather Russell, Chamber administrative director.
Three council spots are on the May 6th ballot. The race for Place One is between Phillip Warren and incumbent Robert Carr. The Place Four race is between Michael Foster and incumbent Jackie Laney. Place Five is between Jeffrey Thompson and incumbent Sue Anderson.
