Sue Anderson says the success of Community Kitchen is due in large part to divine intervention.
Community Kitchen has been providing homemade meals for homebound and elderly since 2018 with Anderson at the helm. The kitchen began following the closing of the Manna Kitchen, a food ministry run by the Chapel of Light church.
“Me and the Lord fought about it. He kept telling me to take the kitchen and I said I don’t want the kitchen,” Anderson said of taking on the endeavor. “That’s how I ended up taking over the kitchen, because of the Lord pushing me.”
