Local veterinarians began Twin Rivers Nutrition because they believe animal health starts with proper nutrition.
“They recognize that medicine is an important part in taking care of these animals. If they get sick, they need doctoring. But, we can prevent some of that doctoring and some of that medicine if they have a good nutritional program on the front end. We start there on the basis of helping these animals from the standpoint of their nutritional needs,” said nutrition specialist Hunter Morris.
Doctors Michael Baird and David Murphy of DeKalb Animal Hospital opened Twin Rivers Nutrition in March to provide more convenience to their clients purchasing feed, minerals and supplements in bulk. It has previously been a storage warehouse and pickup for bulk purchases made at Twin Rivers Vet Supply.
