The Maud Cardinals look to continue their recent success on the baseball diamond with the hire of a coach who has seen lots of baseball, been successful in the district and taken home a state championship.
Wace Forga looks to bring excitement about the game of baseball to the Cardinal program with intensity, speed and respect for the game.
According to a bio provided by Forga, he comes into Maud with a lot of experience coaching and winning the game of baseball. In his second year as Head Coach of the Cardinal’s district rival, The James Bowie Pirates, Forga led the team to a historic four-round playoff run where the Pirates ended their season 22-4. During his two year stretch as a pirate, It was here that he was named the 17-2A Coach of The Year.
