The Friends of the Maud Public Library are helping one of their own after she received injuries from a recent car accident.
“Sarah (Miller) is an active member of our community, dedicated library volunteer and has served as a FOMPL board member,” said Savannah Monroe, librarian at the Maud Public Library.
On June 22, the 39-yearold Miller was involved in an accident at US Hwy 67 and Texas Hwy 8 in Maud where she sustained multiple injuries to her neck, spine and face. She is currently in the intensive care unit at Wadley Regional Medical Center and is expected to undergo several surgeries.
