The 6th annual West Bowie County Back to School Bash is returning to New Boston this Saturday, August 5 with a days’ worth of events for all ages and food and fun for the entire community.
The annual event is hosted by Plentiful Harvest Church and Mission Center and will feature much needed school supplies for local school children, free backpacks and free haircuts. There will also be free food at the event, as always prepared by the men and women of the New Boston Fire Department.
Pastor Robert Little and his wife Beth Little have a heart for serving the community and with all of their volunteers will host the event that has become a welcome sight to those in the community needing some help getting ready for the beginning of another school year. Along with the things families need as school goes back in session next week, there will be lots of exciting things to do at the event including a bounce house, face painting, balloon artists and booths focused on information and products that are essential to learning for both parents and their school age children.
