The Red River Chapter of the Texas Master Naturalist, a master volunteer program of Texas Parks and Wildlife and Texas A&M AgriLife Extension, is accepting applications for a training class that will begin on August 26.
Classes will be held at McKenzie Memorial Methodist Church in Clarksville on Saturdays beginning August 26 and continuing through November 4 (no class Labor Day weekend). The course consists of 40 hours training occurring across 7 classroom sessions and 3 field trips.
Participants must be 18 years of age or older and the class is limited to the first sixteen participants who apply and submit the required training fee ($125 per person or $215 for two people sharing a course book).
