Local schools receive funding checks from Texas Workforce Commission
Texarkana College, were among six East Texas schools to receive funds to help students find careers in high-demand occupations.
Redwater Independent School District and Texarkana College each received checks from the Job and Education for Texans Grant program through the Texas Workforce Commission.
