LINDA LOU MOSELY LANN

Linda Lou Mosely Lann of De Kalb, Texas passed away Wednesday, August 30, 2023 In Ashdown, Arkansas. She was 88.

Linda was born November 5, 1934 in De Kalb, Texas to Raymond Winfred and Effie Thelma Hefley Mosely. She was a homemaker who enjoyed sewing, quilting, and camping. Mostly, she loved spending time with her family. Linda was a member of First United Methodist Church in De Kalb, Texas.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Bennie Lann; and three brothers, R.E. Mosely, Ivan Mac Mosely, and Harold Mosely.

She is survived by her brother, Billie Joe Mosely; two daughters and sons-in-law, Monica and Ricky Blackburn of De Kalb, Texas and Melinda and Doug Suttle of Rogers, Arkansas; three sisters-in-law, Lillian Mosely of De Kalb, Texas, Ouida Lann of De Kalb, Texas and Shelia and Albert Jozwiak of Yorktown, Texas; three granddaughters, Katie Suttle of Rogers, Arkansas, Cassie Anderson and her husband, Jimmy of Texarkana, Texas, and Dee Downing and her husband, Kris of DeQueen, Arkansas; one grandson, Kevin Blackburn of Dallas, Texas; five great grandsons, Joshua Downing and his fiancé, Macie, Hayden Batrice, Ethan Batrice, Drake Blackburn and Isaiah Anderson; one great granddaughter, Alex Anderson; and numerous other relatives and friends.

Services will be 11:00 A.M. Saturday, September 2, 2023 at Bates Family Funeral Home in De Kalb, Texas with Minister Daniel Lange officiating. Private interment will follow at Hubbard Chapel Cemetery in De Kalb, Texas.

Visitation will be held 10:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. Saturday, September 2, 2023 at Bates Family Funeral Home in De Kalb, Texas.

Memorials may be made to the Hubbard Cemetery Association, c/o Monica Blackburn, 11621 FM 1840, De Kalb, TX 75559.
