Local volleyball squads are in the heat of district competition now with teams earning big district wins last week.
The New Boston Lady Lions earned wins over Paul Pewitt and Redwater last week in consecutive straight set victories.
In the win over Paul Pewitt last Tuesday, Bo Hurst led the varsity with 16 service points and 15 assists. Ava Littleton had 17 digs. Makayla Bell and Jayla Rowden had nine kills each.
