The Dogwood Garden Club
The Dogwood Garden Club of New Boston is extremely pleased to present the Yard of the Month Award for October 2023 to Carole Ehler of 200 Deerfield Lane. This award was scheduled to be presented this past November 4th when, as you will recall, a tornado struck our area, with severe damage being inflicted on Carole’s home. After a year of reconstruction to the home, she was able to move back in. Initially, the plan was to re-landscape around the house; however, much to her surprise, Mother Nature showed her resilience. Everything regenerated! Beautiful blooming coral Encore Azaleas line the front porch. Two large urns with fall colors sit on either side of the stamped concrete walkway, guiding you to the new entrance of the home. White Crepe Myrtles anchor the north and south ends of the front porch. Several pots of fall mums, in full colors of yellow, red, and rust accentuate the garden.
