Veterans from Autumn Winds Assisted Living Center were celebrated Friday during a Veterans Day ceremony. Seven veterans who live in the facility, including 103-year-old Jesse Linam who served in the Navy during World War II, were honored with a certificate of recognition for their service. Linam is the oldest surviving WWII veteran in Bowie County.
