SHARON JAYNE WHITE

Sharon Jayne White of De Kalb, Texas gained her wings and went home to be with her Savior Wednesday, November 29, 2023 at a Texarkana, Texas hospital.

She was 79.

Sharon was born March 30, 1944 in Fort Worth, Texas to Vernon D. and Wanda L.

Dowdy Burns. She was a retired office manager and pharmacy tech. She was strong in her faith and belief in Jesus Christ.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Ronnie White.

She is survived by four daughters and three sons-in-law, Lynn and Jim Greer of Bedford, Texas, Angi White of Nacogdoches, Texas, Cindi and Kenny Barnett of De Kalb, Texas, and Wendi and Terry Whatley of Hope, Arkansas; two sisters and one brother-in-law, Jerri Poe of Fort Worth, Texas and Jean and Steve Lewis of New Boston, New Hampshire; one brother and sister-in-law, Rob and Barbara Burns; sixteen grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren; and numerous other relatives and friends.

Services will be 2:00 P.M. Saturday, December 9, 2023 at Bates Family Funeral Home in De Kalb, Texas with Robby Bates officiating. Interment will follow at Hubbard Cemetery in De Kalb, Texas.

Visitation will be held from 1:00 P.M. to 2:00 P.M. Saturday, December 9, 2023 at Bates Family Funeral Home in De Kalb, Texas.

Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association, PO Box 840692, Dallas, TX 75284.
