NBHS Honor Society lends a hand to Community Kitchen

On December 6, 2023 the National Honor Society from New Boston High School delivered cans from their can drive donated from the students to the New Boston Community Kitchen. They collected over 250 cans of food, and half of those were large #10 cans. They delivered and also stacked the shelves in the kitchen pantries. Sue Anderson, director of New Boston community kitchen, was there to meet the students and she explained to everyone how many residents in New Boston and surrounding areas utilize the kitchen everyday. About 106 people get daily meals from the Community Kitchen.
