ALISHA DAWN PARKER MILLS

Alisha Dawn Parker Mills of New Boston, Texas left this Earth on December 31st, 2023.

Alisha was born on March 25th, 1979, to Charlotte Durham of New Boston, Texas and Gary Mehaffey of Plain Dealing, Louisiana.

Alisha was a graduate of the 1997 class of Simms ISD and held an Associate of Applied Science in Dental Hygiene from Northeast Texas Community College, which she has used to practice dental hygiene for the last 16 years.

She is preceded in death by her grandfather, Farrell Tidwell, and her father, R.T. Durham.

She is survived by her husband, Mark Mills, grandmother, Faye Tidwell, great aunt, Christine Wright, mother, Charlotte Durham, biological father, Gary Mehaffey, half-sister, Carla Bryant, aunt and uncle Sharon and Ernie Frerking, cousin, Juliet Frerking, and her sons; Mason McCuller and wife Zoe McCuller, Jackson Parker, Xander Mills, and Addax Mills.

Alisha will be remembered as a loving mother, wife, daughter and granddaughter. She was most known for her kind heart as well as her amazing sense of humor. To know Alisha was to know a love like no other. She will be greatly missed by all.

Services were at 2:00 P.M. Friday, January 5, 2024 at Bates Family Funeral Home in De Kalb, Texas with Israel Hernandez and Price Lavender officiating. Interment was to follow at Sand Hill Cemetery in Simms, Texas.

Visitation was held 1:00 P.M. to 2:00 P.M. Friday, January 5, 2024 at Bates Family Funeral Home in De Kalb, Texas. Online registration at www.batesfamilyfuneralhome.com.
