DENNIS RAY HANNA

Dennis Ray Hanna passed away Tuesday, February 6, 2024 at his home in Simms, Texas. He was 67.

Dennis was born December 18, 1956 in De Kalb, Texas to Horace Raymond and Lillie Faye Hooper Hanna. He was a retired truck driver for Pilgrim and owner of Hanna’s Lawn Service. Dennis was a member of Rock Creek Baptist Church. He loved the outdoors, was an avid hunter, loved the Lord. He enjoyed visiting family and friends and always loved a good cup of coffee!

He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Raymond Hanna and Kenny Hanna.

He is survived by his wife, Victoria Gibson Hanna of Simms, Texas; his children, Victor Rodriguez and his wife, JoAnna of Ridgecrest, California, Lina Rodriguez of New Boston, Texas, Courtney Rodriguez and her fiancé, Billy Barker of Springtown, Texas, Philip Hanna of New Boston, Texas, and Heather Woods and her husband, Chris of New Boston, Texas; one brother, Anthony Hanna and his wife, Tina of New Boston, Texas; his father-in-law, Charles Gibson of Cookville, Texas; three sisters-in-law, Demanda Frost and her husband, Shane of Cookville, Texas, Billie Jean Gibson of Paris, Texas, and Susan Hanna of De Kalb, Texas; ten grandchildren; three great grandchildren; and numerous other relatives and friends.

Services will be 3:00 P.M. Saturday, February 10, 2024 at Bates Family Funeral Home in De Kalb, Texas with Rev. Steve Minter officiating. Interment will follow at Roberts Cemetery.

Visitation will be held 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Friday, February 9, 2024 at Bates Family Funeral Home in De Kalb, Texas.
