Bowie County Master Gardener Plant Sale – April 6th

Now that Spring has arrived, it is time to get out and work in your gardens and flower beds. Spring is a great time to clean up the plants that you already have and add some new ones to the landscape. There is ALWAYS room for a few more plants in your ornamental plantings or your vegetable garden!

The Bowie County Master Gardeners association is hosting a Spring Plant Sale on Saturday, April 6, at Trail Head Park in New Boston (200 S. Ellis St.). The sale will begin at 8 AM sharp and conclude at Noon. Get there at 8 AM if you want to find the best selection and something interesting and new to add to your plant collection. Cash and checks will be accepted, but electronic payments will not.

Plants to be found in the sale include tomatoes, various herbs, strawberries, day lilies, annuals, perennials, bulbs, and much more. Funds raised through the sale benefit the education and outreach efforts of the Bowie County Master Gardeners in our area.

For more information about the plant sale or the Bowie County Master Gardeners, please call the Bowie County Extension office at 903-628-6702. People with special needs are asked to contact us at least 5 days in advance so that necessary accommodation can be made.
