The Hooks Lady Hornets finished last week off with the fourth straight district win as they corralled the Lady Brahmas of Paul Pewitt by a score of 15-2 on Friday. That win followed wins over Redwater, DeKalb and New Boston. The wins put the Lady Hornets at 7-1 in district play heading down the home stretch.

That win followed wins over Redwater, DeKalb and New Boston. The wins put the Lady Hornets at 7-1 in district play heading down the home stretch.

On Friday, Anna Beth Black continued her spectacular season with a 4-for-4 outing and three Lady Hornets fueled the win with a pair of RBI’s apiece including Campbell, Kinsley Birdwell and Winniford.

Birdwell continued as one of the most dominant pitchers in the district and area, notching her fourth straight win on the bump for the Lady Hornets.
