JUANITA ARNOLD-LEE

Juanita Lee, who passed peacefully from this earthly life on April 4, 2024, was the daughter of Harley and Zena Emmons. She was born on August 17, 1927. Juanita led a vibrant life, touching the hearts of many through her various roles. From her dedicated years at Red River Army Depot to owning and managing hotels, a day care facility, video stores, and a florist, she left an indelible mark on her community.

A woman of faith, she was a member of First Baptist Church, New Boston Order of the Eastern Star, and various other community organizations. She had a knack for spreading joy wherever she went. She leaves behind a legacy of love and laughter.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her daughter Deborah Atchley Holland, and her sister and brother-in-law, Dorothy and Grovere Grubb.

Juanita is survived by her husband Billy Lee of New Boston, daughter Jill Henry of Texarkana, Step daughter Sandy Lee Smith (Terry Farris) of Vernon, step son Bryan Lee (Donna) of Justin, granddaughters Joy Elms (Blake) of Cleburne, Katie Jordan (Dean) of Grandbury, grandson Patrick O’Hanlon (Amber) of Little Rock, Arkansas, sister Peggy Dear (Marshall) of New Boston. She is also survived by six step grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, three great, great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

A family service will be held at Bates Rolf Funeral Home at 2:00 P. M. on April 7th with Brother A. M. Adams officiating. She is being buried in Green Acres Memorial Park, Cleburne, Texas by her deceased daughter.

Memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church, New Boston Education Foundation, or the charity of your choice.
