Please be Kind

Hello, I hope you’re having a great week!! Today I want to talk about kindness. Kindness is very important. Even the smallest acts of kindness like holding a door open or saying good morning can make a BIG difference. In the Bible JESUS was Kind to lepers, thiefs, murderers, and sinners. We can show KINDNESS to everyone. I’m not talking about buying everyone you see a house , but simple acts can leave a big mark! You never know what someone is going through: loss, grief, depression, anxiety. You should be kind to show love and compassion towards everyone. Do not use your words to hurt but to lift up, not to harm but to heal. In the Bible it says “Kind words are sweet like honey.” Show forgiveness, mercy, love ,and graciousness. People need love and support and we should show that. Kindness can also lead people to JESUS. If you talk about JESUS kindly and not forcefully people want to know what you have to say and could possibly be more interested. If you have ever just had a bad morning and you get to work or school and someone shows you a bit of kindness how it helps your mood. I strive each day to do just that. I love to write notes or cards that can uplift someone’s spirit. I also like leaving small gifts or little Jesus figurines where people can find them. Most people you know are hurting. We have got to do better on shining the light of Jesus. That’s what GOD wants us to do: Be Kind. Show Kindness this week and keep pushing! You got this!!
