Tribune photo by Jaidyn Medina-Moore Venture Watson’s Girl Empowerment Pageant was a roaring success with 33 contestants in participation and one contestant being crowned as the ‘Ultimate Grand Supreme’. This pageant was held as a scholarship event with the purpose of empowering young girls to become strong individuals and community leaders. All contestants received a title or reward for their dedication. Petite Miss contestant Camille LaMay (direct center) took the title of ‘Ultimate Grand Supreme’ and also received a scholarship of $500.
