Rebecca Carpenter, Crestview special education instructor for third through fifth grades, received $750 to empower non verbal students in grades three through five with Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) devices. These devices will help breakdown communication barriers, allow every student to have a voice and ensure a more inclusive learning environment.
