The Simms Pirates 8 & under softball team took third place in the 8U Rec State Softball Tournament. The tournament was held in Pearland, Texas, June 7 to June 9 and featured 45 teams from across the state. The Pirates finished their season undefeated in league play and saw only five losses in tournament play. Players are Ali Forsyth (7), Jolie Bartlett (3), Madi May (12), Bella Braley (4), Dusti Bartlett (14), Hadley Morton
(27), Raegan Tinsley (25), Cloee Obenoskey (11), Rayleigh McCarty (5) and Ella York
(2). The team is coached by Steven Braley, Chris May and Chase Bartlett.
