Wearing full tackle gear and donning black grease paint under her eyes, DeKalb native Jessica Rivas takes the field to protect her quarterback and make a hole for a scoring run.
Rivas is a member of the Houston Energy, a division one team under the Women’s Football Alliance.
In her second season with the team, she was named to the All-American First Team for the WFA American League Conference. She is one of six from the Energy to make the team.
