Jennifer Dear said she hopes to be a role model for empowering young ladies growing up.
“They can do anything, they can be anything. With the right mindset and the right support, there’s nothing they can’t do. Nothing,” she said.
Dear is a 22-year veteran in education and became Leary Independent School District’s first female superintendent.
