Maud’s first football team honored

Maud’s first football team of 1969 was honored in the rain with medals during the half-time of the Maud vs Tenaha game. The team’s first game was played on September 9, 1969 and was coached by Mike Dittrich. Members of the team were Perry Brown, Willie Campbell, Bruce Cook, Chris Cook, Aurthur Crowder, Kenneth Foster, David Hamilton, Joe Green, Eddie Green, Billy Henderson, Robert Edwards, Gregory Cooley, Frank Holiday, Joe Lee, Ronny Sharp, George Stewart , Lester Stone, James Traylor, and Johnny White.
