GALA COOPER POND

Gala Cooper Pond, age 57, of New Boston, Texas, passed away on November 9, 2024, at a local hospital, surrounded by family. She was born on March 29, 1967, to Doug Cooper and Nancy Burleson.

She was a devoted and loving daughter, sister, aunt, and friend. She was also the biggest fan of MMA, Texas Aggies Football, Dallas Cowboys and New Boston Lions.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Orville and Gladys Cooper, Ima Faye and Dan Jones and William Porterfield.

Left to cherish her memory is her mother, Nancy Burleson and stepfather, Billy, father, Doug Cooper, one brother, Scott Cooper, (Donna), one sister, Tonda Perkins, (Tim), one step-brother, Randy Burleson, (Holly), and their children, Haley Thompson and Hunter Burleson, her babies, nephew Blake Barton and nieces Courtney Cooper and Yvonne Perkins, (Jonathan), and their children Allisyn and Liam, two fur-babies, Pistol Pete and Mila, and numerous other relatives and friends.

Memorial Services will be held on Tuesday, November 19, 2024, at 2 P.M, at Bates-Rolf Chapel with Bro. Steve Minter officiating. Interment will be in Red Bayou Cemetery, under the direction of Bates-Rolf Funeral Home. Visitation will be held from 1p.m. to 2 p.m. before the service.
