BILLY DON ENGLISH & SETHIENA TRUDIE ENGLISH

Billy Don English (86) and Sethiena Trudie English (85) of DeKalb, Texas passed away Sunday, November 17, 2024. Billy Don was born January 3, 1938 in Madill, Oklahoma to parents Edgar and Aubie Payne English.

Sethiena was born October 22, 1939 in Hugo, Oklahoma to parents Seth and Ruth Hurst Madden.

Bill and Sethiena were married on April 13, 1963 in Foreman, Arkansas and spent sixty-one wonderful years together. Their lives’ work was building their beloved B&S English Family Farm. To those who knew and loved Billy Don and Sethiena, it was easy to see their devotion to family, friends, farming and their faith.

They were preceded in death by their parents; one son, Keith English; brother to Sethiena, Robert Blocker; and siblings to Bill, which included Edgar English, Jr, Morene Dubose, Roland English, Jack English, John C. English, Myrna Perry, Janice Curtis, and Gary English.

Bill is survived by one brother and sister-in-law, Dr. Bobby and Becky English of Maud, Texas; one sister, Betty Clark of DeKalb, Texas; and one sister-in-law, Glenda English of Karnack Texas. Sethiena is survived by two sisters and brothers-in-law, Virginia and Burl Cranford of Foreman, Arkansas, and Tommye Joe and Otis Ford of Ashdown, Arkansas; and one sister-in-law, Wanda Blocker of Haworth, Oklahoma; They are both survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Lane and Jaime English of Texarkana, Texas; three daughters and two sons-in-law, Kimberly English of Florissant, Colorado, Lana and Michael Beckwith of Midlothian, Texas, and Melinda and John Saxton of Conway, Arkansas; one daughter-in-law, Sherri English of DeKalb, Texas; and ten grandchildren, Adam English (Jayme), Audey English, Laura Beckwith, Katie Beckwith Ahlschlager (Lane), Nathan English, Anna Kate Saxton, John Paul Saxton, Jr., Andrew Cobb, Alex Cobb, Aiden Cobb. They also leave behind 4 precious great-grandchildren friends.

A funeral service to honor Bill and Sethiena English will be held at 1:00 P.M. Saturday, November 23, 2024 at First Baptist Church in DeKalb, Texas with Brother James Sparks officiating. The family requests memorial donations to DeKalb First Baptist Church Building Fund.
