JOHN ROBERT MAHONE

John Robert Mahone, age 94 of New Boston, Texas passed away Monday, November 18, 2024 in a local Hospice facility. Mr. Mahone was born October 22, 1930 in Bowie County, Texas to Milam and Fannie Mahone. He was retired from Red River Army Depot as a Truck Driver, a member of Moss Springs Baptist Church and is preceded in death by his wife of 62 years Pearline Mahone, his parents and six siblings. He is survived by his daughters, Martha Johnston of New Boston, Texas, Jona K. and husband Mike Garrison of New Boston, Texas, sons, Bob and wife Patsy Mahone of New Boston, Texas, James Mahone of New Boston, Texas, grandchildren, John Pratt and Clif Beal, four great grandchildren, one great great grandchild and a number of other relatives and friends. Graveside Services will be held Friday, November 22, 2024 at 11:00 A.M. in Ringwood Cemetery with Bro. Colton Fowler and Bro. Steve Minter officiating. Visitation will be from 10:00 until 11:00 before services at the Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Ringwood Cemetery Association, P.O. Box 234, New Boston, Texas.
