PAUL SCOTT FOWLER

Paul Scott Fowler,. age 59 of Texarkana, Texas passed away at his home on Monday, February 17, 2025.

Scott was born June 5, 1965 in Texarkana, Texas to James and Beth Fowler. He was a Material Identifier with Red River Army Depot, of the Baptist Faith and is preceded in death by his father, James Fowler and grandparents, Sam and Pat Fowler and Byron and Idell Hall.

Scott loved his family and life. His friends say to know him is to love him as he brought so much joy to so many. He loved the Texas Longhorns and loved to talk about them to his family and friends. Ava, his beloved dog was his pride and joy. He is also known as “Toot Rod”, a nickname given to him by his New Boston High School football team. He loved playing basketball with his nephews and spending time with his nieces.

Left to cherish his memory is his mother, Beth Fowler of New Boston, Texas, Fiancé Darlene Lewis of Texarkana, Texas, sister, Becky Anthony and husband Manuel of Chandler, Oklahoma, nieces and nephews, Amanda Sanders, Caitlin King, Lisa Anthony and Mike Anthony, plus a number of great nieces, nephews, cousins and friends, and his beloved dog, Ava.

Memorial Services will be held on Saturday, February 22, 2025 at 2:00 P.M. at First Baptist Church, New Boston with Dr. Patrick Hunter officiating. Visitation will be from 1:00 until 2:00 P.M. before services.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Antioch Sunday School Class, First Baptist Church, 506 South Mc-Coy Blvd, New Boston, Texas 75570 Online memorials may be made at www.batesrolffuneralhome. com
