ROBBIE LOU CHISUM

Robbie Lou Chisum, 77, of New Boston, Texas, passed away on February 23, 2025, in a Texarkana hospital. She was born on September 17, 1947, in McCurtain County, Oklahoma. Robbie was a devoted homemaker and a dedicated volunteer with several community organizations in New Boston. She was also a long-time member of the Chapel of Light in New Boston, where she touched many lives with her kindness and generosity.

Robbie was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Hubert Chisum. She is survived by her sister, Betty and her husband Archie Taylor of DeQueen, Arkansas; three sons, Tracy Chisum of Texarkana, Texas, Aaron and his wife Geneva Chisum of Dekalb, Texas, and Adam Chisum of New Boston, Texas; two daughters, Keri Chisum Tackett of Oil City, Louisiana, and Donna and her husband Michael Phillips of Texarkana, Texas. She is also survived by her niece, Jennifer and her husband Rob Peel of Mineola, Texas, and nephew, Daniel Taylor of DeQueen, Arkansas.

Robbie was the proud grandmother of 19 grandchildren and great-grandmother to 38 great-grandchildren. She was cherished by her family, friends, and all who knew her in the New Boston area.

A memorial service will be held at a later date to celebrate her life and legacy. She will be dearly missed by all who were blessed to know her.
