TPWD constituents encouraged to comment on possible 2025-26 regulation changes
Extending the length of the archery-only season for mule deer to the day prior to the opening of the general mule deer seasons in multiple counties is among the list of proposed regulation changes the TPW Commission will consider during its March 27 meeting in Austin. TPWD biologists says the change is intended to provide additional archery hunting opportunity and will have no negative impacts on the resource.
