“The more that you read, the more things you will know. The more that you learn, the more places you’ll go.”

Students around our area participated in the National Education Association’s annual Read Across America program last week. This program encourages reading while celebrating Dr. Seuss’s birthday which is on March 2. Local community members took part in the program by visiting area schools to read books to their classes. Students were treated a variety of visitors from business owners, police officers, parents, educators and “Dr. Seuss” took a trip to Malta sharing goodies with the students.
