Rip England Premier Realty named New Boston Chamber of Commerce Business of the Year

At this year’s annual New Boston Chamber of Commerce banquet, Rip England Premier Realty was honored as the 2024 Business of the Year.

The award was presented to Rip England by his sister Rachel Strain.

Strain said in her announcement, “This award recognizes a business in our community that demonstrates the values and spirit that makes our community impressive. The award represents more than just excellent performance as they continue to impact our City on many levels. This year’s winner was established by a 4th generation business owner in New Boston. What really makes this business stand out is the entire team’s experience and specialized knowledge in the real estate market and their commitment to providing personal-ized service. They are your premier partners in real estate whether you are buying, selling, or investing. They go above and beyond to make your real estate goals reality.”

She could not have said it better.

Rip England Premier Realty has been serving the real estate needs of our area since 2007. It was in March of that year that Rip followed the leading of God by ending his career at Cooper Tire and launching a new career that would go on to make him one of the top real estate agents and brokers in Northeast Texas.

In an interview with the Tribune this past week, Rip said, “I was working at Cooper Tire doing shift work. We had two young kids at home and they had so many things I couldn’t attend. I started praying for a way out so I could be around for them.”

Without him even knowing Rip was praying for a change, Kyle Davis approached him about coming to sell real estate. Davis and his brother Lynn Davis at the time owned the Century 21 office in New Boston.

It was then that Rip decided to follow God’s leading. He went and got his real estate license and got his feet on the ground and from there he says God opened the doors. In just a few years, those doors would open even wider.

In 2014, England bought the business from Kyle and Lynn and left Century 21 and opened Rip England Premier Realty.

Rip says he knew from the beginning that he needed to surround himself with good people, and that is what he did.

He said,” I started surrounding myself with these good people that I get to work with every day. They are what set us over the top. Having them put the icing on the cake.”

The office now includes Rip, Lynn Davis, Nick Basso, LeAnn Potter, Deanna Allen, Misty Toliver, Larry Knight, Colton Daffern and Clint Ryther.

Rip reiterated, “This is what God wants me doing. When you are honoring His will there is a big difference.”

Congratulations to Rip England Premier Realty for being named the New Boston Chamber of Commerce Business of the Year.
