In this month’s regular meeting of the New Boston City Council, city leaders unanimously approved the new economic development plan as the official plan of the city.
“Forward New Boston” was adopted by the council as the official economic development plan of the city.
“It’s actually an exciting moment. One thing the importance an economic development plan has is it shows transparency to citizens, developers, staff, people looking to coming into New Boston, what we are wanting,” said Lee Elliott, president of the New Boston Special Industrial Development Corporation (SIDC) and Community Development Corporation (CDC).
