Martha Jo Roberts

Martha Jo Roberts, age 77, of Texarkana, Texas, passed away peacefully on April 04, 2025.

Martha was born on May 01, 1947, in Naples, Texas to Theo Brubaker and Burlee Clawson Brubaker. In 1967, she married the love of her life, Danny Boyd Roberts, and together they shared many years of love, laughter, and devotion.

She dedicated much of her career to serving the community as a valued employee in the District Clerk’s office in Bowie County until her retirement. A woman of strong faith, Martha was a long-time member of the First Baptist Church in New Boston, Texas, where she found joy in fellowship and worship.

She was preceded in death by her parents. Martha is survived by her beloved husband, Boyd Roberts of Texarkana, Texas; one sister, Mary Ann Icenhower of Georgia; one nephew, Tim Icenhower; one niece, Martha Jane Icenhower; and many other relatives and cherished friends who will deeply miss her kind heart and warm presence.

Cremation is under the direction of Bates Family Funeral Home in De Kalb, Texas. Online registration at www.batesfamilyfuneralhome.com.
