CONNIE SUE CARY

Connie Sue Cary, age 53, of De Kalb, Texas, passed away on April 11, 2025. She was born on July 21, 1971 to Edward James Hoffman and Nancy Jo Compton Hoffman.

Connie was a devoted wife and a compassionate caregiver. She married Larry Cary Jr. in 2009, and together they shared a life rooted in love and devotion. Connie worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant, where her gentle spirit and commitment to others touched many lives.

She attended Pinkham Memorial Missionary Baptist Church in De Kalb, Texas. Connie had a deep love for nature and found joy in gardening and spending time outdoors. She cherished the peace and beauty of the wilderness.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Connie is survived by her beloved husband, Larry Cary, of De Kalb, Texas; three sons, Tyler Dahl of Conway, Arkansas, Cody James Hoffman and wife Rebekah of Texarkana, Arkansas, and Johnny Lee Cary of De Kalb, Texas; two daughters, Jennifer Lynn Cary of De Kalb, Texas and Cassie Youngblood and her husband Cody, of New Boston, Texas; one sister, Cathy Tinker of Tennessee; two brothers, Edward James Hoffman, Jr., of St. Elmo, Illinois, and Charles Hoffman of Peoria, Illinois; three grandchildren, Madilyn Hope Youngblood, Thomas Cain Hoffman, and Victoria Irene Hoffman.

Funeral Services will be 2:00 P.M. Friday, April 18, 2025 at County Line Holiness Church in De Kalb, Texas with Brother Leo Smith officiating. Interment to follow at Roberts Cemetery in De Kalb, Texas.

Visitation will be held 1:00 P.M. to 2:00 P.M. Friday, April 18, 2025 at County Line Holiness Church in De Kalb, Texas.
