Battle underway to protect Red River Army Depot

Col. Denis J. Fajardo, Red River Army Depot commander, speaks at a celebration marking the 250th birthday of the United States Army, Thursday afternoon. Fajardo assumed the duties of commander of RRAD in July 2024. RRAD is currently the target of a Department of Defense comprehensive review under the Army Transformation Initiative which could threaten the future of operations at the 80 year old military installation.
