Jason David Majors of Simms, Texas, passed away on July 3, 2025, in Plano, Texas, at the age of 49. He was born on April 21, 1976, in Texarkana, Texas, to David and Wanda Majors.
On September 30, 2017, Jason married the love of his life, Koti Renee Norton Majors. Together they built a beautiful life in Simms, Texas, raising their two sons, Jaysen Yates and Quentin Majors, and one daughter, Dallee Yates,. who were the pride and joy of his life.
Jason was employed by Coca-Cola Southwest Beverages, where he was known for his dedication, work ethic, and friendly nature. Outside of work, he was a man of many talents and interests. He had a gift for repairing things and a passion for cooking, often sharing his creations with family and friends. He also found joy in singing, fishing and hunting-especially when it meant quality time with his loved ones.
A devoted husband, father, son, brother and friend, Jason was a faithful member of Trinity Presbyterian Church in Texarkana, Texas. His faith was a cornerstone of his life, and he lived with integrity, kindness, and a servant’s heart. Jason is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Mary Bell and E.F. Cook; his paternal grandparents, Estes Majors and William Frank Majors; and his beloved mother-in-law, Trina Renee Norton. He is survived by his wife, Koti Majors of Simms, Texas; his two sons, Jaysen Yates and Quentin Majors, and one daughter Dallee Yates also of Simms, Texas; his parents, David and Wanda Majors, of Maud, Texas; his father-inlaw, Steve Norton, of DeKalb, Texas; his sister, Christi Foster and her husband Scott, of Center, Texas; his brother- in-law, Billy Norton, and wife, Tiffany, of DeKalb, Texas; and three nephews, Wyatt Foster, Stockton Shifflet, and Bolton Norton. His memory will live on through each of them and all those whose lives he touched.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, July 10, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. at Bates Family Funeral Home in DeKalb, Texas with Dr. Bob Vincent officiating. Internment will follow at Norton Family Cemetery in Simms, Texas.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, July 9, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Jason will be remembered for his warm smile, unwavering love for his family, and the quiet strength he brought into every room. His presence will be deeply missed but forever cherished.
