The DeKalb Bears, fresh off a 79-30 win over the Paul Pewitt Brahmas in their first district contest of the year, split a pair of games over the holiday break. The win over the Brahmas set the Bears basketball squad at 10-2 for the season as district play will ramp up after the holidays.
In the two games played over the break at the Prairiland Classic, the Bears soundly defeated the boys from Paris Homeschool by a score of 62-24. In the other game, the Bears fell to a very strong Prairiland Patriots team by a final score of 84-44.
The Bears will next be in action on the road this Friday against the Bulldogs of Queen City.
